Verdict

The weather is bleak
In Delhi a confrontation
Builds up, but these hills
Are indifferent to what is happening
Only the news that is coming
Affects the weather, the hills
And rocks

Soon the rains will come and wash our fears
Or the tears
Of student protesters
Who will imprison the students?
Or pronounce a verdict on them?
Are there predators waiting to lacerate these protests?
Wield sticks at them, arrest them, disallow them to assemble?
Visible signs of the storm coming
One of them said: “ It has just begun…”
