Medicare for All

Hey brother have you heard?
There’s a change in the wind
We’re passing down the word
Two thirds of all our citizens
Have answered loud and clear
Social medicine is our friend
The day is drawing near
It’s just around the bend
We have overcome our fear
We were up against the wall
We don’t know when or how
We can hear the sayers call
We are all socialists now
Don’t pause and do not stall
Medicare for all!

Hey sister what’s the news?
We hear it all around
We are wearing worn-out shoes
In the cities and the towns
We are not afraid of words
We don’t care how it sounds
In the days before the fall
Feet planted on the ground
We’re proud and standing tall
You know we’re homeward bound
United one for all
Medicare for all!
