The chaos king

The chaos king
is not constrained by truth.
He “supposes” and implies.
Mostly he downright lies.

He loosens his mind
in weekend sprees of juvenile
fantasies—claims Greenland, Iceland, Canada
as US territory, pictures himself endowed
like Hulk Hogan, attacks Mark Carney with a hockey stick,
walks the ballroom with George Washington.

Unhinged, some whisper,
but where’s the adult brave enough
to say out loud
the emperor has no clothes?
