Paper’s Weight
by J.S. O’Keefe / September 20th, 2026
The papers are in order.
Be careful with crease;
could be evidence you carried this.
The cargo must stay cargo,
unnamed.
It goes into the truck.
The doors close.
The weight corresponds,
the destination is written where it belongs.
The history between one hand and the next:
the crease, potentially.
Straighten it.
Things become dangerous when noticeable.
