When Did Demons Survive God?

Rolling Life, jostling emotion
Time elbows time out of motion
Past and present merges

I stand amidst that
Confluence, unaware of
The stagnation and cravings
That forced life to a halt
Perhaps ages ago,
In another locale
Under different circumstances
And got netted out of
The stream, natural
Yet not-so-natural!

I stand in front of
A barricade, restricting
The flow and make a
Plea to swim away
Down a known stream
That now languishes
As dry leaves replace
The green ones and
Plants cry for photosynthesis

Everything’s lacking!
The sun had set
Taking away vitality
And
They emerge from
Another time
To
Merge with…

I try to make meaning
Of the chaos, blame
My lack of comprehension
On a law that they say
Has been too universal
To be understood
Without special observance,
As say the process of ‘breathing’

But
One question…

What can make the
Unnatural, natural
And unquestioningly so?

Life’s unending
So is afterlife! But…

Life for us comes to an end!
So afterlife has its…
Must have its limiting factors

Unending ushering in…
Unending ‘divine’ use of
The ‘afterlife’ has an
Effect, demonic and that’s
Not godly…! Right?

Demons die
Gods are immortal
And
So is time!

Efforts to turn
Time mortal is…
Demonic!

Death to the demons
And everything demonic!
