September 16-25 The mass media of Denmark, where I live, was saturated with jubilation for many of Donroe Trump’s victories, resulting in my becoming nauseously depressed.
September 16-18: President Donald Trump imposed 100%-500% tariffs for firms or countries buying Russian oil, gas, other goods, or countries supporting Russia’s existential war against Ukraine. He even imposed sanctions upon Russian officials including “friend” President Vladimir Putin and “his” “shadow fleet” of oil tankers allegedly used by Russia to evade US sanctions. No matter United Nations international law, which most countries no longer deem relevant.
At the same time, Trump sought to strangle Russia, he imposed greater sanctions against Iran with banking restrictions, visa restrictions, asset freezes, and other actions against foreign entities that invest in Iran’s petroleum sector or provide goods or services to Iran’s military. In addition, comes secondary sanctions on airline service-providing companies if these companies do not stop providing services to Iranian airlines.
September 22: Trump’s Speech to United Nations General Assembly.
President Donald Trump began his 38-minute speech by rejecting attempts to create national or international regulations that would restrict US technological leadership, especially naming Artificial Intelligence. He wants to call it “Super Intelligence”. I call it, Alienation Instruction.
Trump spent most of his tirade on Iran. “While others have talked, I have acted; while others have spoken of peace, I have made peace.” Trump then called Iran, “the number one sponsor of terror”. He demanded, “A deal with Iran—or I will annihilate the Islamic Republic, and do it quickly!” gadebate.un.org.1Here are Trump’s “peace” with six wars today: aei.org and reason.com.
The only time I can find that Iran had a democratically elected president was when Mohammad Mossedegh was so elected in 1951. Mossedegh nationalized its oil, something that any government can legally do. It is their oil, after all, but, “Great Britain, which had ruled much of the world including “America”, had taken over Iran’s oil during Shah Mohammad Rus Palkivi rule. During Winston Churchill’s second regime, he decided to retake Iran’s oil. His MI6 and US’s CIA arranged regime change and overthrew Mossedegh, in 1953, and reinstalled their Shah. There has not been democracy in Iran since, albeit the current Supreme Leader and government of the Islamic Republic are doing a good job of preventing the Trump administration from retaking Iran and its oil.
Trump then bragged about liberating Venezuela’s oil, kidnapping its President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, and killing 100-200 Venezuelans and 31 Cubans. Honest Trump triumphed: “To the victor belong the spoils.”2I mean Trump is honest, despite his perennial lying, because he is the only president in the history of the United States of America Racist Military Empire (US-ARME) who openly brags about seeking to dominate the whole world, and not just, as President James Monroe declared, in 1823, owning the “New World” while Europe could keep the “Old World”. “Monroe Doctrine” became the code by President Millard Fillmore, in 1850. Monroe and Fillmore were plantation slave owners kidnapped from Africa, which has never recovered its sovereignty since Europe began kidnapping Africans in the 15th century with US-ARME doing so later.
Trump admittedly seeks to imitate the Monroe Doctrine, which led to the Mexican-American War (1846-8). The US stole 55% of Mexico’s territory: New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Colorado and Utah; parts of Oklahoma, Kansas, Wyoming, and, of course, Texas in its entirety.
Cuba was Trump’s next target, which he seeks to bring under his “Shield of the Americas”.
“My administration seeks a fundamental change in the situation in Cuba… It is an absolute failed state… and it will fall…Cuba is a haven for foreign adversaries who threaten America right on our doorstep… The Cuban regime has also spent decades coordinating with left-wing radicals and communist networks here in the United States… They have cultivated ties with subversive and radical groups.”
Even if Trump is right about Cubans associating with radicals and communists in the US, including myself, so what? Isn’t that part of free speech? Do not all sorts of governments do the same? Nevertheless, there has never been any attempts by Cuba to assassinate other leaders or citizens, or spread diseases.
Not one leader mentioned at the UNGA meeting, as far as I could determine, the thousands of people the US has killed inside Cuba since its revolution began in 1959. What about the Bay of Pigs invasion, bacteriological-chemical warfare that killed hundreds of people, including children, and caused the swine fever that forced the government to kill all its pigs, 500,000? What about the 638 assassination attempts on the life of President Fidel Castro, and scores of other assassination attempts on other Cuban leaders.3Cuba’s Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parilla spoke only of the damage Trump’s oil blockade causes. September 22: US-Denmark-Greenland Win-Win-Win Agreement
I watched and heard Denmark’s three-hour straight media ecstasy over the so-called “Win-Win-Win” deal. Greenland’s Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen greeted its signing as, “An historic day”. “We can be secure and calm. Our land will not be bought.”
Everything was great—from granting the US eternal control over militarizing Greenland and its 50,000 ethnic Greenlanders and 6000 ethnic Danes—to US’s eternal right to dig up its oil, gold, rare earth minerals used for US wars, and whatever else it can find, which will also increase pollution of the air, water and earth.
Investments and media are denied to states or investors that are “not a member of NATO, a NATO partner, or an EU member state shall not be allowed to have (i) control, (ii) significant influence, or (iii) access to non-public information that may constitute a threat to national security or public order…” um.dk
The deal also allows for Greenlanders and Danes to work in building military bases. Will that make them appreciate using their land for more wars against whomever the US wants to dominate? The agreement also includes, “the establishment, maintenance, and servicing of such unmanned military installations”; including use of “the Territorial Waters, by land, air and sea.” “US can establish a ‘Golden Dome’ defense system in Greenland as a shield against ballistic missile threats.”
If Greenlanders decide to become independent, they will not be sovereign or have control of their resources or membership in NATO: “the Government of the Kingdom of Denmark and the Government of Greenland shall together ensure that the independent Greenlandic state will (i) agree to remain in NATO…”

Conveniently missing from the joint talks, and the media harangue, was the atomic bomb accident in 1968. “An American B-52 G bomber, carrying four nuclear bombs, crashed onto the sea ice of Wolstenholme Fjord in the northwest corner of Greenland…due to human error.” PBS
There is nothing in the new agreement about atomic weapons. Even if Denmark/Greenland do not want nuclear weapons on their soil, no one can expect US presidents, especially Trump, to abide by agreements. Ask any Native American about hundreds of disregarded treaties presidents signed.
“Human error” was not discussed during these recent talks, but we know that the President of the United States has the sole right by law to press the atomic weapons order, unlike in Russia where it requires the President, The Minister of Defense, and the General Staff of the military. Reuters
There must be billions of people, in this turbulent world, who think DonMonroe Trump makes “human errors”. He has already mentioned several times using nuclear weaponry.
Dane PM Mette Frederiksen can be remembered for stating, in 2019, that Trump’s desire to buy Greenland was “absurd”. Trump called her “nasty” and cancelled his planned tour to her land. Not long thereafter, they met in London at a NATO. After a brief talk, she came out to tell the media: ““We swing well together”. And so they still swing well together.

After the signing, Trump whispered in Frederiksen’s ear, “You are a tough woman,” according to the Danish daily, Politiken, which also referred to the “nasty” woman remark in his first term. Politiken
At the end of the signing, reporters asked how Trump felt about not having won “ownership” of Greenland as he had expressed several times. Trump frowned and refused to answer. He knew, I surmise, whether his “right to ownership” was in ink or not, he had won.
September 22: After kissing Mette Frederiksen, Trump held three separate meetings with UK PM Andy Burnham, Japan’s PM Sanae Takaichi, and Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky. Details are sketchy, but Burnham and Zelensky got Trump’s greater support for their war in Ukraine.
Trump decided not to meet with Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu—wanted for crimes against humanity by the arrest order by the International Court of Justice, and the United Nations declaration of his committing genocide. Although 124 countries have recognized ICJ’s arrest warrant authority, only 16 countries have stated they would arrest him. Denmark is one of those which has still not stopped trade, including arms trade. China and the US do not recognize the arrest warrant for him, but China has actually declared Israel’s actions against Palestinians as genocide. Seventy-seven countries’ delegates walked out when Netanyahu spoke, but not the US and Denmark. China let one delegate remain in a gesture of playing ball with all sides. Break Through News
September 22: “Shield of the Americas”

DonMonroe and Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with the “Shield of the Americas” delegation. Trump created his “Shield” on March 7, 2026. In just these few months, 14 countries have joined and were present: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guyana, Honduras, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Trinidad and Tobago.

Trump has seen to it that right-wing candidates and fascistic organizations receive funds from National Endowment for Democracy (CIA), among other sources. Several of them have recently held elections that ousted progressive governments, especially in Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. ned.org
In Washington, the “Shield” agreed to increase their alleged fight against drug cartels. Obviously, Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro, kidnapped and imprisoned in New York with his wife charged with supporting drug trafficking without any confirmed proof, was on their minds. US Embassy.gov
Trump sends Latin Americans, citizens and legal residents or not of the US, kidnapped by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, to El Salvador’s notorious Cecot prison. Human Rights Watch declared, “Prison conditions in El Salvador should be understood within the context of the country’s three-year-long state of emergency, which has suspended constitutional due process rights… abuses committed against children…” hrw.org
Since Trump’s first term, he has aided the ultra-right, brutal president, Nayib Armando Bukele Ortez. LA Times
September 23-25: President Trump meets China President Xi at the Washington DC airport.

What followed was pomp and circumstance; a gala dinner with several billionaire Tech Giants; and several talks with few agreements.
Trump and Xi did agree not to change disputes over trade and tariffs until after November mid-term election. As it stands, the imbalance in tariffs is in US favor around 30% to 10%.
One of the most concrete outcomes of the summit was the confirmation that they will meet twice in the next three months,
China still sells rare earth minerals used for war-making, surveillance satellites, auto sector and other technology. Yet the US wants to buy more, as it had been before the October 2025 Busan trade deal, which called for, “China suspending new rare earth exports.” medium.com
They did not agree to curbing AI speed of development or sharing its control. Politico
They also discussed Taiwan, and US-Israel Iran war. China has refused to intervene or get involved in the US-Israeli war on Iran, despite Trump’s repeated calls for them to do so.
Apparently, Trump is still sitting on selling $14 billion in war machinery to Taiwan, after having sold it $10 billion in weaponry last December.
Besides having sold its rare earth minerals since the late 1980s, it has large numbers of shares and joint ventures with war-making corporations such as General Motors and General Electric. Neither corporation reports about how many shares and joint ventures China has with them.

China has invested nearly $1 trillion in Treasury Bonds, assisting US’s uncontrollable debt. Note: When I thought of the headline, I recalled muckraking John Reed’s book about the Russian Revolution; 10 Days that Shook the World. In those October 1917 days, millions of workers went on strike, also in the Donbas Ukraine, which was then part of the Russian empire. The communist-led revolution takeover of most of the country resulted in no deaths caused by workers. In the following month, the aristocrats’ White Army organized and began the civil war. The White Army was soon supported by 13,000 US soldiers, and some 200,000 from European countries even while they still fought Germany. Japan also sent 70,000 soldiers.
