They railed against the fallacy
The tragedy of war
But when it came down to a vote
They cast their vote for more
They know it is a travesty
They called it by its name
But when summoned by his majesty
They had no sense of shame
They voted for the consequence
The Hormuz Strait is closed
Higher gas, food and higher rent
The backlash can only grow
No one likes this dirty war
And yet they’ll give it their approval
With rising prices at the stores
We will vote for their removal
The war is like a stain
That is tattooed to the face
The illness seems ingrained
They’re always out of place
So now they own this war
They own this high inflation
They are rotten to the core
They deserve the degradation
