Just yesterday the IDF admitted they’ve been trying to kill all Hamas municipal officials. They did this by announcing they would no longer be targeting some Hamas municipal officials — which means until now they’ve been targeting all of them. Of course, killing municipal officials for their civilian positions is a war crime under international law, but Israel has never met a war crime it hasn’t committed.
Because of Western media’s propagandistic diarrhea of the mouth, a lot of Americans don’t realize that Hamas was not just a militant group; it was also the government of Gaza until July of this year when they dissolved it. However, they are still the de facto governing body of the 30% of Gaza where all the survivors of the genocide live because Israel has stolen the other 70%.
It should come as no surprise that any government consists of far more than just an army or a group of militants.
- The people who oversee the healthcare in Gaza (even though all the hospitals have been blown up) are Hamas municipal officials.
- The people who oversee the garbage pickup in Gaza (that remains) are Hamas municipal officials.
- The people who oversee the public infrastructure in Gaza (that hasn’t been blown up) are Hamas municipal officials.
- The people who oversee the education system in Gaza (that hasn’t been blown up) are Hamas municipal officials.
- The people who oversee the allotment of food to the hungry in Gaza (when there is any) are Hamas municipal officials.
You get the idea. Israel has been executing civilian employees who oversee standard governmental projects. It would be like one of the most advanced armies in the world drone bombing US mail carriers — or at least the guy who oversees the mail people in your town. It would be like jets dropping bombs on the guy who looks over the traffic patterns to make sure the stoplights work appropriately.
And it gets worse. We know from past reporting that the psychopaths running the IDF don’t only target the targets — they blow up the entire family of their target. They do this with AI programs such as “Lavender” and “Where’s Daddy?” They wait for a target to arrive home so they can vaporize his house and several generations of his family.
When we take this all together, Israel has admitted targeting non-militant municipal officials and their entire families.
If any other country at any other time were doing this, it would be covered on most mainstream media outlets. But don’t worry, it’s only Israel and it’s only during their ravenous three-year genocide of Gaza. No one has the time to keep up to date on every war crime Israel commits. That would be like throwing a party every time Carlos Alcaraz wins a tennis match — you’d be exhausted and look like a hysteric moron.
So let’s not make a big thing out of the IDF admitting they’ve been executing the guys who oversee trash pickup and food delivery in Gaza. Let’s pretend it’s a smaller news story than Donald Trump pausing momentarily while exiting his plane.
