The genocide of the Palestinian people consumes us, and for good reason; it is a nightmare that will keep us awake until it is resolved. The perpetrators of the genocide work at it for 24 hours, seven days a week, covering the globe with a blanket of falsehoods, deceits, and calculated verbal attacks that they hope will disguise the horrors of their actions and smother the truths that reveal them. We realize we must be equally vigilant, and use each moment of energy to de-energize the Zionist inflated rhetoric, each second of breath to breathe life into the movement to save the Palestinians, and, each day, to labor assiduously from sunrise to sunset and ensure the sun never permanently sets on the Palestinian community.
The efforts have intensified and expanded — the Palestinian salvation includes a Jewish salvation; the mislabels of the Palestinian resistance as a terrorist organization are now the labels of the Zionist organization, the appearance of the Jews as a long-suffering and victimized people has shifted to reactions to suffering and victimhood they have inflicted upon others. For the Jews, it is apocalypse then, past events that drove them into a great disaster; it is apocalypse now, present events that drive them into another great disaster. The stories of the past come back to haunt. They are stories of either fight or flight, never acceptance or reconciliation.
I echo the thoughts and aspirations of many commentators; there are other situations we want to write about and are restrained from doing. Events do not allow it; each day unfolds a contest between suffering and relief for the Palestinians; each day highlights previously suppressed arguments on the controversial actions of Jews as Jews. The change in attitude that accepts contradicting the rhetoric from Israel’s supporters has modified the moral position of those who claim to be eternal victims of world oppression. Make no mistake, and let us not overlook it, rightfully or wrongfully, as in the past, the Jews, as Jews, are being challenged. The Jews are facing another apocalypse, a choice between fight or flight. By choosing the former, they lost; by choosing the latter, they survived.
The apocalypse story is a clue to the outcome of Israel’s genocidal policies.
Several apocalypses faced Jews throughout history — the 4th to 2nd century BCE Hellenization, briefly won by the Pharisees, who opposed Hellenization, and led to a civil war and loss to Roman occupation; 100-200 CE rebellions defeated by Roman forces, who had previously allowed them special privileges, reduced their numbers in the Roman Empire, and led to their flight to Mesopotamia and to the “golden age of Judaism;” 13th century reduction in population and power in Mesopotamia after the Mongols ravished the area, which shifted Jewish life to Al-Andalus and western Europe; 16th century expulsion from Catholic Spain after centuries of fraternal living in Muslim Al-Andalus, which led to flight to other areas, the 13th to 17th protection from Lithuanian aristocracy, whose estates they leased, managed, and collected taxes, where a loss of protection after the 17th century Khmelnytsky uprising, reduced them to a struggling minority in the later Russian Empire; late 19th and early 20th century frictions in the Pale of Russia, which led to mass flight to the United States and western Europe. Apocalypse has become a standard feature for Jewish peoples. Some fight, and mostly flight, rather than integration or assimilation, has been the answer to their apocalypses.
The Enlightment and revolutionary movements relieved Jews of separation from neighboring peoples and urged them to integrate into the nations where they resided. Napoleon’s victory at the Battle of Jena-Auerstedt reshaped European politics and forced Prussia to change its society. Liberation of the serfs and newfound freedoms sealed the liberation of western European Jews from laws and customs that marginalized them. The Zionists did not approve; they pursued separation, classified Jews as a nation, and prepared Jews for their next apocalypse.
It happened in Nazi Germany, where Nazi nationalist forces perceived Jews as a competing nationalist force, as a nation within a nation. Jews in the United States had an obligation to plead for assistance for the damaged German Jews. The Zionists went extreme; they pleaded for damages to the German economy, which infuriated the Nazis and increased their animosity toward their Jewish citizens.
Although not proven, the principal reason for Germany slowly freezing Jewish assets and engaging in its boycott of Jewish enterprises seems to have been the boycott of German goods. Organized by Jewish groups in the United States, the boycott was intended to be a response to violence and harassment by Nazi Party members against Jews in early 1933, which were confined and sporadic at that time. Many Jews opposed the boycott and tried to appease Hitler, believing the violence and harassment would be only a passing phase of Nazi governance. From the New York Times, March 31, 1933.
The Nationalist Socialists promoting the boycott of Jewish establishments took advantage of the anti-German boycott to reference the demonstrations against Nazi Germany as a reason for their action.
Did the Zionist nationalist movement and rhetoric impede the complete integration of Jewish populations into all phases of European societies, maintain them socially marginal, arouse friction with other nationalist forces, and prevent them from sliding in unnoticed among all other citizens? The Nazis stamped the fate of European Jewry during World War II. The Zionist worldwide activities
• Provided an excuse for Nazi organizations to continue attacks on German Jewry,
• Alienated German citizens from their fellow Jewish citizens,
• Reinforced beliefs of international Jewish power and use of that power,
• Made it more difficult for the U.S. State Department to pursue diplomacy in resolving the situation without appearing to be guided by a special interest,
• Gave the German government a reason for not halting the attacks, did not prevent the catastrophe, and provided some ammunition for the deadly apocalypse.
• Created a battleground of Germany at war with all Jews, a war the Jews could not possibly win.
Regardless of the interactions, the result for the Jews was another apocalypse.
Apocalypse then, apocalypse now.
The characters are the same — nationalist Jews and their nationalist antagonists; the backdrop is the same — Jewish elements have achieved excessive power and are using that power for their advantage; the disillusion is the same — Jews have been assisted in recovering from tragedies, and a major part of world Jewry returns the benevolence with scorn; the defiance is the same —Israel Jews will not compromise and want it all. The apocalypse denouement is approaching its final shape — people are speaking and demonstrating in previously restricted manners, and world leaders are taking actions to counter Israel, the stated representative of the Jewish community.
I recall Jesse Jackson being castigated and forced to repent when he referred to New York as “hymietown,” a harmless statement that is more humorous than troubling. Recently, Kanye West posted on social media that he would go “DEFCON 3 (a state of increased alertness) on Jewish people,” and claimed that Jewish people control the media and were trying to “blackball” him. Someone tweeted on X: “Jewish communities have been pushing the exact kind of dialectical hatred against whites that they claim to want people to stop using against them,” and Elon Musk, owner and CTO of X, responded with, “You have said the actual truth.” Both people eventually apologized for their statements, but the effects remained. Charges of anti-Semitism have been reduced in impact, even referred to “as a compliment.” The voiced attacks on the Jewish community feed upon one another and are growing in intensity.
Finally, severe action is being taken by Western governments to counter Israel’s repression of the Palestinians. British foreign secretary, Ed Miliband, “accused the Israeli government of turning a blind eye to ‘ethnic cleansing’ in the West Bank and announced a series of sweeping sanctions on trade with illegal settlements.” Canada and France joined the sanctions proposal. The far-right Alternative for Germany party (AFD) won a major victory in Saxony-Anhalt’s regional election. The AFD has not exhibited hostility to Jews, but has shown reluctance to continue Germany’s World War II guilt trip and constant atonement for the Holocaust, which have been used to appease its Jewish citizens and Israel.
Israel and its followers have reacted to the events with fight.
Israel accused the British government of spreading “outrageous lies,” operating as a “hostile” administration, and ordered closure of the British consulate in Jerusalem.
In the past year, German Jews have demonstrated support for a foreign nation, Israel, the type of activity that generates followers for the FPD.

Britain’s Chief Rabbi warned that the “Gesture politics of this kind feeds into an increasingly hostile discourse about Israel, and the cumulative effect of such punitive policies is to further embolden those, at home and abroad, who use hatred as a weapon against Jews.” Another pugilistic remark from an Israel supporter, who shows no sympathy for the oppressed Palestinians, no regard for the country in which he lives, and only concern with how a legislation affects Jews and the foreign country of Israel.
Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO and National Director of the Anti-Defamation League, wrote a blog, Remembering 9/11: We must not look away, in a foreign journal, The Times of Israel, September 9, 2026.
The hatred that targets Jews does not stop with Jews — and 25 years after 9/11, the fights against antisemitism and Islamist terror remain inseparable. For many Americans, 9/11 was a shattering surprise. For the Jewish community, however, the warning alarm about the threat of Islamist terror had been sounding for decades… Seven years after 854 people were murdered in Argentina, that same murderous ideology took the lives of nearly 3,000 people in New York, Virginia and Pennsylvania. And within days of the towers falling, the antisemitism followed like a shadow.
Unashamedly, Jonathan Greenblatt uses an attack on America and the dead Americans as links to the Israeli agenda and to solicit U.S. support in combating the terrorists that Israel has created. It was not American grief and soul-searching that followed the falling towers; it was anti-Semitism.
There is no hope for Israel and its supporters. They will not compromise; they will not reconcile; they will not accept their perfidy; they will continually fight. For Israelis, it is all or nothing. Can Israel defeat the entire world, or will they take the entire world with them before admitting defeat? Will the Dispensationalists be proven correct? Does Armageddon await us?
Unless the world realizes where this is headed and takes appropriate action, this could be the chilling future. The words “appropriate action” and “could be” are the simple keys to unlock the strategy for defeating the Dispensationalists. It won’t happen. When facing demise, Jews have not been willing to be submerged by others. They have bowed their heads, admitted they have disgraced God, and pursued flight. They always have support from other Jews and will be accepted by many countries. I’ll bet on flight from Israel before the apocalypse.
