Glamour

Mirrors cut through the tranquil canopy, breaking the silence with reflective gleam.

Trained hands turn the polished brass dials, every move precise and deliberate,
locking the warmth inside.

The sweeping brooms
fade into the shadows,
leaving behind clean and quiet.

Teeth of iron click into place;
the meek ones slip out of sight.

Pricey weightlessness,
pristine rooms,
sustained by breath and sweat.
