It has been six years since a coronavirus infection was first identified in its assault on the American public including a worldwide exposure in what became the Covid pandemic; a pandemic that profoundly altered the American population’s political, social and cultural institutions. To date no clear explanation has been provided to describe how Covid was identified by the nation’s health and intel agencies.
A pandemic is identified as a sustained, widespread pathogen across multiple countries spreading a highly infectious respiratory disease affecting a large portion of the population; by March 11, 2020 Covid had spread its influenza’s high transmissibility to 114 countries with over 118,000 confirmed cases.
Any pandemic moves with rapid evolution as it represents the greatest risk to a human population when containment is not feasible, with little ability to intensify mitigation. Sustained transmission is via airborne respiratory particles.
In January 2017, Dr. Anthony Fauci inexplicably predicted: “There is no question that there will be a challenge to the coming administration in the arena of infectious diseases” which came at a forum on pandemic preparation at Georgetown University.
There appears to be a medical ambiguity or misunderstanding of the human immune system which claimed to benefit from a “natural immunity” as the American public was never assured that their own immunity was a potential source of protection. I can say that I never contracted Covid, never took a vaccine shot and rarely wore a mask.

Prior to Dr. Fauci’s recent appearance at Homeland Security Committee hearing on July 29 where he invoked his Fifth Amendment rights, an earlier Committee hearing on March 13 was held with Sen. Rand Paul (Ky) introducing Whistleblower James Erdman, III, a career CIA Special Ops Officer.
By way of introduction, Sen. Paul offered a lengthy opening statement as he identified the Covid pandemic was one of the most consequential events in American history with Dr. Anthony Fauci providing an essential role.
Erdman testified regarding his assignment (March 2025 – April 2026) on the DIG (Director’s Initiative Group) reporting to the Director of National Intelligence as he described leading investigations into the “Covid cover up, the national security implications of DIGS associated findings and CIA refusal to comply with lawful oversight as well as how these problems should be remedied.“
Initially Erdman testified that senior intelligence leaders and senior CIA analysts “downplayed the possibility that the Covid pandemic resulted because of a lab incident.”
Erdman suggested that the “IC’s actions resulted in a cover up, wasted resources and a failure to properly inform policy makers.”
“Public health policy would have been very different if American people had been made aware that a virus from a lab in China was going to serve as the foundation for an emergency use authorization mRNA products being mandated by the former Administration.”
Erdman asserted that “Dr. Fauci’s role in the cover up was intentional. Dr. Fauci influenced the analytical process and findings by leveraging his position to ensure the IC consulted with a conflicted list of curated subject matter experts, public health officials and scientists.”
“Some of these scientists were part of the BSEG (Biological Science Expert Group) an office of the DNI’s advisory body whose members often receive abundant funding from NIAID or public health agencies.”
“The BSEG scientists influence national laboratory wmd research, policy decisions, finished analysis and other intelligence matters creating misaligned incentives and conflicts of interests as well as counter intelligence issues.
Erdman described that “Since 2006, BSEG consulted part time on bio-defense issues for the IC while conducting government funded research and holding academic positions as well as maintaining roles in public health institutions as well as serving as Members in the National Academy of Science.”
“They receive funding from NIAID and other agencies for vaccine research, NIAID’s Predict project, the Cooperative Threat reduction program and even worked with Chinese scientists on coronavirus and other pathogen studies pursuing vaccines.”
Erdman added that “There was no oversight monitoring how this web of relationships influenced policy , research and public health in any holistic way.”
“For over twenty years, several BSEG scientists helped Dr. Fauci rewrite definitions of Gain of Function in 2015 to lift a funding pause on dangerous research.
“Still others involved in planning Event 201 in 2019. This was a coronavirus pandemic table top exercise curiously similar to events that played out during the Covid 19 Pandemic and was attended by Dr. Fauci and other individuals with IC ties like Avril Haines.”
“The CIA and DNI analytic managers responsible for examining the origin of Covid made decisions inconsistent with conclusions of subject matter experts and analytical trade craft consistently favoring a zoonsis theory of natural origin.”
Erdman announced that “Following the CIA’s Covid relook which culminated in 2023, the CIA retaliated against analysts supporting the lab leak hypothesis. CIA analysts were not bribed…”
“CIA analysts who supported the 2023 lab leak conclusion took every administrative measure available to them to address their deep concerns regarding analytic integrity of their finished intelligence.”
“CIA managers retaliated against them for their refusal to agree with Management ‘s middle of the night anonymous rewrite of the analysis which changed the assessment to a non-call judgment.”
“Dr. Fauci’s influence over the IC’s covid origin analysis, witting and unwitting role that some scientists and IC personnel played in the cover up exposed why this issue is of deep concern.”
“Failure to address US govt inability to differentiate between public health and bio defense and oversight resistant ecosystem of life science actors has been fertile ground for increasingly dangerous continental US gain of function research as well as similar research conducted in US government supported labs abroad.”
“Post 911 changes in public health, biodefense roles and responsibilities have blurred lines between science, military and intelligence community and resulted in deliberately opaque and excessively redundant biodefense research policy and infrastructure seemingly intended to escalate bureaucratic blow. This is a national security crisis caused by an inability to provide real oversight.”
Also participating in the hearing were Sen. Ron Johnson (Wisc.), Sen. Josh Hawley (Mo.), Sen. Joni Ernst (Iowa) and Sen. Bernie Moreno (Ohio). No Democrats on the Committee attended the hearing.
Based on Erdman’s testimony that Dr. Fauci was intimately and personally involved in the mistaken identification of Covid as a naturally occurring pathogen, the Homeland Committee will now decide whether to charge Dr. Fauci with “contempt” of Congress for failing to participate in the July 29 Committee Oversight hearing.
