Godly Power of the Ungodly

We will remain in this pool
Of fear, where voices raise
Stealthily in open spaces
Punctuated by weeping
Of children, women
And night sounds of rapacity
Kill is the word in our effete vocabulary
Blood is the visual
The more obvious part of lives
Binding clear open skies
And diligent murmur of
Skyscrapers happening right above
Who walks across dreams
Whose dreams are these
Fetish of lust
Can you help me to define power
So that I obliterate it
In the ghetto of love?

In the meantime voices crackle
A hush, a sound of animals prowling
Footsteps leave trail of blood
I unearth binaries
In worlds of fantasy
Can you define it, power I mean;
The godly power of the ungodly?
