The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) reported on 7 October 2026: “Three years on from the Hamas-led attacks on Israel, which killed around 1,200 people and resulted in 251 being taken hostage… More than 74,000 Palestinians, many of them civilians, have been killed”. Corrections:
(1) The International Law-permitted but disastrous “attacks” by illegally-subjugated people came from the 6 million Occupied Palestinian Subjects of Apartheid Israel, specifically from among the 2.4 million Gazan Subjects imprisoned in the blockaded and bombed Gaza Concentration Camp. In 2020 the under-5 infant deaths totalled 512 (Israel proper) and 2,743 (Occupied Palestinians). Israel was made aware of the planned attack in 2022 (NYT), and more recently by Arab countries (Haaretz).
(2) 1,200 Gazans and 1,195 Israeli residents were killed, the latter including 30 innocent children and 1,165 adults (mostly past or present Israeli military policing the illegal Occupation, with many killed by the Hannibal Directive-instructed IDF).
(3) 6 million Occupied Palestinians were held hostage by Israel, with about 5,000 in high security prisons.
(4) The IDF asserted “70,000” Gazans killed in 2 years versus 875,000 Gazans killed including 325,000 children, 207,000 women and 342,000 men, and present Gaza life expectancy 40.5 years (The Lancet). Silence is complicity.
