There’s an eclipse.
No one cares about it.
What would I do if
Genocide ceased.
I have answered this question differently
in the form of a dream
that the city had disappeared
into a sinkhole–the results of
the abuse of excommunication
And relic mongers.
The rarity of objects, and emotions,
is an imprisonment of what is
indebted to us forever.
We still refuse to confirm
this is the empty space without law,
without any mercy–it is no more than
a vacant lot in the sky, a prospect
for history’s winners.
