In a highly anticipated vote, the House voted July 22 to adopt HR 8800, 2027 NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) which includes the controversial Section 219 which would ‘merge’ assorted functions within the US Military with Israel.

Motion to Recommit offered by Rep. Pat Ryan (NY) 213 – 216 mostly on a party line vote with two GOP Members voting Yes (Rep. Luna (Fl) and Rep. Tim Burchett (Tenn).
Motion to Recommit is a procedural tool which would have ‘recommitted’ the NDAA back to its originating committee for further review.
