Soon…

This is the day of a worship
The day a God associated
With machines, cars and
Electrical appliances will
Be propitiated. It is important
To please Gods nowadays
Especially when a country
Has a crisis with students
Youth and weather gods
Floods and devastation
O gods of all cities and climes
Bless this country, take care
Of its crises, shower good weather
On it. O Gods let this happen slowly
So that the people do not take
You for granted. So that skies
Don’t open into torrential rains
And floods. Please remember
O Gods that nothing in this
Country works. Not even Nature

We will worship you O Gods
Of all electrical appliances,
Cars and two wheelers in garages
Take us to a world where we won’t
Have to wade through floods in cars

And you can take us to our destinations
Soon, soon
