Victory
by Stuart McFarlane / June 21st, 2026
‘We told you we would,
we told you we could.
Victory tastes good;
now the war is is won’.
‘Such an awesome sight.
No nation can fight
American might.
Your dreams are undone.’
So Trump deals in lies,
facts he will revise;
truth he will despise.
No prints on the gun.
He will plead, implore;
how he, furthermore,
stopped another war.
The yarn will be spun.
Our sun brightly burn,
our world safely turn.
No need for concern.
Until the next one.
