Ogerty

— After Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats by T.S. Eliot
Ogerty’s a massive, grisly feline
who’s always up to no good,
he stalks at all hours and shits in garden flowers
as he traumatizes the whole neighborhood.
Ogery kicks over cans leaving garbage strewn about,
touts firm belief in anti-aetheofascism,
then seduces the girls who join his cult
leaving all sense in the deepest chasm.
You’re too old and fat to have more progeny,
and the world is sufficient with one
like you who terrorizes both young and the old,
unnerving the meek and the bold!
